Immigration Lawyer – Portuguese Residency & Citizenship

About the role

Immigrant Invest is seeking a qualified Immigration Lawyer to guide international clients through Portuguese immigration, residency, and citizenship processes. You will act as the primary legal contact, ensuring smooth case management from initial consultation to final approval.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end immigration applications, including Golden Visa (ARI), D Visa, residence permits, family reunification, and citizenship.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate all legal and supporting documentation required by Portuguese authorities.
• Represent clients before AIMA and other agencies, handling follow‑ups, clarifications, and additional document requests.
• Monitor applications via the ARI portal and provide regular status updates to clients and internal teams.
• Assist with related matters such as NIF/NISS registration, legalization, apostille, corporate documentation, and relocation support.
• Draft legal justifications, declarations, and other supporting documents as needed.
• Stay current on changes to Portuguese immigration law and support internal compliance processes.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer licensed to practice in Portugal.
• Proven experience in Portuguese immigration law and residency procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Golden Visa (ARI), D Visa pathways, AIMA procedures, and citizenship processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Independent worker who can coordinate effectively with clients, authorities, and internal teams.
