I2D Automation and Process Expert

About the role

Join Bosch’s global manufacturing transformation team to shape the future of smart factories and warehouse automation. You will support the implementation and continuous development of innovative intralogistics and automation solutions across Bosch manufacturing sites worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end implementation of automation and intralogistics solutions, including automated warehouse systems, at global production sites.
• Analyze existing logistics and material‑flow processes to identify optimisation and digitalisation opportunities.
• Design future‑oriented “To‑Be” processes for automated material movement, warehouse operations and smart‑factory concepts.
• Define business and technical requirements and integrate automation solutions with IT systems such as SAP EWM and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Participate in testing, validation, commissioning, go‑live and hyper‑care activities at international locations.
• Evaluate, pilot and integrate innovative technologies such as Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV), robotics and AI‑driven automation.
• Ensure connectivity of automation solutions within Bosch’s global manufacturing ecosystem and adjacent processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing automation and intralogistics solutions in manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with SAP EWM and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integration.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and robotics.
• Ability to work on international projects and support testing, commissioning and post‑implementation phases.
