Hybrid On‑Premise DevOps Engineer – Braga

About the role

We are looking for an experienced on‑premise DevOps Engineer to join KCS IT in Braga. The role is hybrid, requiring three days a week in the office, and focuses on building and maintaining reliable Linux‑based infrastructure for multiple clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage Linux server environments and containerised workloads using Docker.
• Create and maintain reproducible development environments with Vagrant.
• Automate configuration and deployment processes with Ansible.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Ensure environment parity across development, testing and production stages.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot networking components such as DNS, firewalls and load balancers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
