Hotel Manager – Atipico Lisbon Secret Patio

About the role

As Hotel Manager of Atipico Lisbon, you will steer the transformation of an operating hotel undergoing a phased repositioning toward a premium lifestyle concept. You will ensure smooth daily operations while guiding the property through renovation phases and elevating guest experience, service standards, and commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the operational side of the hotel’s phased repositioning, coordinating with design, construction and procurement to minimise guest disruption.
• Oversee daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and F&B, maintaining high standards and operational efficiency.
• Drive commercial performance by working with Revenue Management and Marketing to improve ADR, RevPAR, occupancy and F&B revenues.
• Ensure new spaces are fully operational before launch, establishing workflows, staffing and equipment requirements.
• Monitor guest feedback, identify friction points and implement improvements to boost satisfaction and review scores.
• Manage the hotel P&L, control payroll, operating costs and departmental budgets with strong financial discipline.
• Develop and coach the hotel team, fostering a culture of high service standards and performance.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards and risk management procedures.

Required profile

• Strong experience in boutique, lifestyle or upscale hotel operations with P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to raise service standards, improve guest experience and drive commercial results.
• Hands‑on leadership style, comfortable operating in a fast‑changing environment.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Willingness to be highly present on‑site and personally involved in day‑to‑day operations.
• Experience with hotel repositioning or renovation is a plus.
• Background in premium market positioning or strong F&B concepts is advantageous.
