About the role

The Hotel Director leads the overall operation of a luxury, multi‑outlet hotel, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and maintaining the highest service standards. This senior position provides strategic direction, fosters crew friendliness, and drives continuous improvement across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and lead the hotel team to achieve Forbes 5‑star standards.
• Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
• Conduct daily inspirational morning meetings and mentor department heads.
• Identify training needs, support talent development, and ensure staff are fully aware of Forbes standard requirements.
• Participate in weekly public health inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Distribute NPS scores, financial data, voyage reports, and deep‑dive analyses to stakeholders after each voyage.
• Resolve onboard challenges promptly, maintaining a ship‑ready environment for possible inspections.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of professional experience in luxury hotel operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Experience in cruise line operations is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Excellent fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Conversational ability in additional languages is considered an asset.
