Head of Legal Operations & Transformation

About the role

Sterlington PLLC is seeking a senior leader to redesign and manage its Executive Administration function. Reporting to the Head of Firm Management, you will guide a distributed team of Executive and Legal Assistants, embed AI‑driven processes, and introduce customer‑success principles to elevate partner support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a world‑class team of Executive and Legal Assistants during a period of rapid growth.
• Design and implement a partner‑satisfaction framework using customer‑success methodology.
• Audit existing workflows and deploy AI tools for scheduling, meeting preparation, communications, and document handling.
• Define workforce planning, coverage models, and capacity strategy for the EA function.
• Collaborate with Firm Management to align administrative operations with overall firm strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading administrative or legal‑operations teams in a professional services environment.
• Strong judgment in integrating technology and AI into high‑touch workflows.
• Ability to build development paths and foster a culture of excellence.
• Excellent communication skills with senior partners and firm leadership.

Required skills

• Experience with AI‑enabled productivity tools.
• Knowledge of workflow automation and process improvement.
