Guide Wire Operator I – Manufacturing

About the role

The Guide Wire Operator I is responsible for meeting daily production, quality and safety targets in a medical device manufacturing environment. The role involves performing electronic, manual, mechanical and electromechanical assembly tasks, as well as organizing and operating automatic or semi‑automatic machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, inspect and test products according to defined manufacturing procedures.
• Operate a variety of machinery and equipment following established procedures.
• Follow quality, compliance and safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow good documentation practices.
• Dispose of toxic waste in designated areas.
• Train other employees when needed and keep certifications up to date.
• Perform additional operational tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read and understand basic English work instructions and documents.
• Ability to interpret production procedures and maintain confidentiality of process information.

• Machinery operation (automatic and semi‑automatic).
• Electromechanical assembly.
• Manual assembly techniques.
