Group Production Planning Specialist

About the role

As a Group Production Planning Specialist you will join the Supply Chain team at Preh Portugal, ensuring performance, standardisation and continuous improvement of production‑planning and logistical processes across the global manufacturing network. You will work in an international environment, developing SAP PP/MM standards and tools while supporting global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review, document and optimise logistical setups and production‑planning processes across all global plants.
• Develop and implement SAP PP/MM standards, concepts and tools in close collaboration with Supply Chain, Planning and Operations.
• Implement, optimise and continuously monitor defined processes and structures across multiple locations.
• Act as Group Key User, providing first‑level cross‑functional support in SAP PP/MM.
• Deliver short‑term solutions for complex operational or systemic issues.
• Identify bottlenecks, analyse root causes and propose corrective actions to improve efficiency and planning accuracy.
• Support initiatives aimed at streamlining scheduling, planning reliability and operational performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Experience in production planning, scheduling, logistics or manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP PP/MM.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
