About the role

The Global Head of RWE Biostatistics provides strategic oversight of the worldwide Biostatistics function, ensuring high‑quality statistical deliverables for clinical and real‑world evidence programs. This senior leader drives productivity, resource allocation, and cross‑functional collaboration across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global Biostatistics department, managing managers to directors and overseeing project allocation, utilization, and output.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables and maintain rigorous expert review processes.
• Represent clients at FDA meetings, advisory boards, and other regulatory or scientific forums.
• Develop and review protocols, analysis plans, and regulatory submission sections (e.g., NDAs).
• Monitor departmental budgets, scope, and process improvements to achieve best practices.
• Provide statistical consultancy to internal and external stakeholders and contribute to governance structures.
• Foster professional development, training, and career growth for all Biostatistics staff.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading large, multi‑disciplinary Biostatistics teams in a global setting.
• Deep knowledge of biostatistical methods, clinical trial design, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to interact with senior clients, regulatory agencies, and cross‑functional partners.
• Strong track record of delivering high‑impact statistical analyses for drug development.
