Global Events Financial Controller – Remote

About the role

The Global Events Financial Controller will act as the fiscal engine for Tether’s Global Events department, overseeing the entire financial lifecycle of international events. This fully remote position requires precision, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to provide real‑time financial clarity to the events team.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate vendor quotations and manage contract signature processes.
• Develop, track, and report budgets, ensuring real‑time financial visibility.
• Handle invoicing, payment processing, and multi‑currency, multi‑company reconciliations.
• Prepare post‑event financial reports and yearly budget reconciliations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in the Events, Travel, or Hospitality industry.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Excellent English communication skills.
