General Ledger Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team in Ovar, Portugal. You will be responsible for accurate and timely accounting of our business units, ensuring compliance with company standards and local legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain reliable financial administration and support periodic closing activities.
- Process bank statements and sales invoices.
- Perform ICO reconciliation.
- Prepare statistics and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with the General Ledger team, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Controlling.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Previous experience in similar accounting responsibilities.
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
Required skills
- SAP ERP (mandatory).
- Microsoft Office suite.
