Gateway Firmware Engineer Internship

About the role

As a Gateway Firmware Engineer intern you will take part in the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to delivering and maintaining firmware for Bosch’s heating solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support users who integrate your code into their products.

Key responsibilities

• Refine functional and safety requirements for gateway firmware.
• Design, develop and test firmware using C/C++ on the ESP32 platform.
• Produce technical documentation, especially safety-related sections.
• Assist in testing activities and troubleshoot issues reported by internal or external users.

Required profile

• BSc or MSc in Embedded Software or a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing software in C/C++ and familiarity with the ESP32 ecosystem.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Proactive, independent attitude with a focus on quality.

Required skills
