Fullstack Node Developer

About the role

Fyld, a Portuguese consulting firm focused on high‑performance IT services, is seeking a Fullstack Node Developer to join its team of elite consultants. You will work on a variety of projects, building and maintaining robust web applications that serve clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Node.js applications using Express.js.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Integrate front‑end components built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Write unit and integration tests using Mocha, Chai or Jest.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure version control best practices with Git.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Node.js developer.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event‑driven architecture.
• Fluent English communication skills.
