Full-time Waiter (M/F)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Waiter (M/F) to join our team at Restaurante Barbela in Lisbon. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering a high standard of service to our guests while supporting a collaborative kitchen and front‑of‑house team.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus, and take food and beverage orders.
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring correct presentation.
• Maintain clean and properly set tables throughout service.
• Answer guest questions, recommend dishes and drinks, and handle payments.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow.
• Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in the dining area.
• Assist colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Previous experience as a waiter or front‑of‑house staff in a restaurant is preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, carry trays, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative, respectful attitude toward a diverse team.
