Freight Forwarder – Automotive Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Freight Forwarder to join our fast‑paced Automotive Logistics team in Porto. You will support multiple automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, handling time‑critical shipments across Morocco, Portugal, Spain and France.

Key responsibilities

• Quote all time‑critical shipment requests to/from Morocco, Portugal, Spain and France with speed and accuracy.
• Support automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with customer SLAs.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating competitive rates using local market knowledge.
• Provide clear handovers, accurate reporting and support KPI requirements, ensuring customs compliance where needed.
• Achieve strong quote‑to‑booking conversion rates and meet monthly profit targets.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commercially aware and confident negotiator with solid understanding of margin and pricing.
• Customer‑focused, proactive, adaptable and able to build strong internal and external relationships.
