Financial Controller – Robotics Startup

About the role

We are a fast‑growing robotics startup building an operating system for robots across multiple industries. We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead finance for two sister companies, ensuring rigorous performance control, cash management, and strategic decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash flow for both companies, monitor actual vs. budget and update forecasts.
• Prepare, consolidate and analyse monthly accounts with high accuracy.
• Oversee subscriptions and operating expenses in coordination with the accounting team.
• Conduct monthly actual‑vs‑budget analysis, identify variances and define corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain financial models and 2–3‑year business forecasts.
• Maintain relationships with investors and investment funds.
• Produce structured financial reporting and generate insights for strategic decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Management Controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Highly autonomous, organized and able to prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
