Financial Controller – Multi‑Entity Hospitality Group

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of a diversified hospitality group in Puerto Rico. The role covers multiple entities—including a hotel, a condominium/HOA, and a parking operation—and requires full ownership of P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complete financial operations for the hotel, HOA, and parking entities.
• Prepare and maintain separate P&L statements, budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for each entity.
• Oversee payroll administration, reconciliations, tax reporting, and labor compliance.
• Serve as Treasurer of the condominium association, handling funds, reserve accounts, collections, and board reporting.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax compliance, and banking relationships.
• Supervise a General Accountant and liaise with external service providers.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the General Manager and ownership.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in an equivalent senior finance role.
• Background in hospitality, condominium, HOA, or residential operations (hotel experience not required).
• Strong knowledge of P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Familiarity with Puerto Rico labor regulations, tax requirements, and condominium law is preferred.
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Puerto Rico.
