Finance Business Partner – Remote (AI Infrastructure)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Finance Business Partner to join the infrastructure division of a fast‑growing European deep‑tech company. Working remotely across EMEA, you will partner with commercial, operations and product teams to drive financially‑sound decisions for modular data‑center deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the finance liaison for commercial, operations and product teams, providing analysis for strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain financial simulation models, including business plans, unit economics and deployment scenarios.
• Model and present ROI and total‑cost‑of‑ownership to clients such as cities, institutions and enterprises throughout the sales cycle.
• Own monthly financial reporting, profitability analysis by site/unit and KPI tracking (margin, cash conversion, payback period).
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and challenge operational assumptions with business partners.
• Analyze manufacturing and deployment cost structures and identify optimisation levers.
• Prepare financial materials for executive committees, boards and investors, supporting fundraising and asset financing.
• Collaborate with finance teams across the group to ensure model consistency and consolidated reporting.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in corporate finance, FP&A or business finance, preferably in capex‑intensive sectors (infrastructure, energy, data centres, cleantech).
• Proven ability to build robust financial models and present complex ROI analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in a startup or hyper‑growth environment is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical rigor, autonomy and excellent client‑facing communication skills.
