Finance Analyst Junior

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Junior Finance Analyst to join its Finance Team in Lisbon. You will help improve financial processes, support decision‑making and ensure accurate reporting across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations, marketing, finance operations and procurement to guarantee profitable execution.
• Reconcile management reports with financial statements.
• Implement standardized procedures and optimise processes using AI tools.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Compare actual results with business plans and forecasts to identify financial status.
• Deliver YoY, MoM and budget variance insights to finance stakeholders.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing and reconciliation activities.
• Act as the primary finance contact for the Commercial team, providing insights and operational support.

Required profile

• Degree in Management, Economics, Business, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, controlling, FP&A or auditing within a multinational environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Portuguese and English.
• Self‑driven, organised, detail‑oriented and able to prioritise effectively.
• Proactive and autonomous mindset.
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Google Sheets.
• SAP (optional but beneficial).
