Field Support Specialist – On‑site IT Support

About the role

Inetum is looking for a Field Support Specialist to join its on‑site IT team in Miraflores. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, ensuring smooth daily operations for internal users and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network incidents for on‑site teams.
• Install, configure and maintain new equipment and keep existing systems up‑to‑date.
• Provide user training and guidance on specific technologies and systems.
• Document incidents, resolutions and updates in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external clients to address concerns.
• Identify potential risks and implement preventive measures to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Educational background in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Fundamentals or ITIL Foundation are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities under time constraints.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a customer‑first attitude.

• Networking basics: TCP/IP, VPN, DNS.
