Facilities Engineer

About the role

The Facilities Engineer will support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical building systems for a medical devices and pharmaceutical service provider. This position works on day shifts with flexibility to cover other shifts as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, and improvement of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and building automation.
• Provide project and program support to the Facilities/Utilities functional group, monitoring budgets, schedules, and status.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities, ensure timely completion of work orders, service requests, and repairs.
• Assist with facility projects, renovations, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades, partnering with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
• Manage procurement activities, purchase order placement, tracking, and contract administration including change orders and payment tracking.
• Administer CMMS tools such as SAP, ServiceNow, BAS, and Maximo, and support quality/compliance systems like Agile, TrackWise, and QMS.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Facilities Engineering.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Availability for day shift and flexibility to work other shifts when required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality and compliance systems such as Agile, TrackWise, and QMS.
• Experience with CMMS or enterprise platforms like SAP, ServiceNow, BAS, and Maximo.
• Ability to extract, review, track, and code data related to facility systems.
