EyeCare Advisor (Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time EyeCare Advisor to join our For Eyes store. You will be the first point of contact for customers, supporting the optometrist and ensuring a seamless, high‑quality eye‑care experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds and answer the phone within three rings.
• Explain required paperwork, tests, products and services in the doctor’s office.
• Review prescriptions and patient information, flag special needs and consult with the optician or managing doctor.
• Handle and file patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Place contact‑lens orders, process shipments and submit invoices.
• Operate the POS system, entering customer and prescription data accurately.
• Maintain store visual standards and a safe working environment.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and computer‑based procedures.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time pressure.
• Patience and courtesy when dealing with indecisive or difficult customers.
• Ability to follow state law, company policies and HIPAA guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
