About the role
The Purchasing Specialist will manage the procurement process for construction projects, following established procedures and under the direction of the Project Manager. The aim is to secure the best cost, quality, service, and delivery terms for all materials and services required on site.
Key responsibilities
- Execute all steps of the purchasing process for the construction site, ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate the procurement activities of the team according to defined guidelines.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date database of potential suppliers and subcontractors.
- Enforce purchasing policies and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the construction sector.
- Strong understanding of purchasing procedures and supplier management.
