About the role

The Bilingual Admissions Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for families interested in the programs and services offered by Gersh Autism Academy in Aguadilla. This role combines consultative sales, family guidance, and deep knowledge of the special education and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) ecosystem in Puerto Rico.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and guide families through the admission process, from initial inquiry to campus visit.
• Manage leads from forms, calls, campaigns, events, referrals and other channels.
• Maintain structured and timely follow‑up throughout each stage of admission.
• Coordinate calls, meetings, interviews and campus tours.
• Clearly explain the educational model, programs, and admission procedures.
• Identify family needs, concerns and potential barriers to provide personalized guidance.
• Handle questions and objections with empathy, knowledge and confidence.
• Convert initial inquiries into scheduled visits and admission opportunities.
• Keep prospect and family information up‑to‑date in administrative tools.
• Collaborate effectively with academic, administrative and marketing teams.
• Track indicators such as leads received, response time, contacts made, visits coordinated and conversions.
• Participate in open houses, community events and other outreach initiatives.
• Provide communication and orientation in both Spanish and English.

Required profile

• Empathetic, assertive, organized and results‑oriented.
• Strong knowledge of the special education ecosystem in Puerto Rico, especially services for ASD.
• Professional fluency in both Spanish and English, written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to persuade, handle objections and work toward conversion targets.
• High level of organization, attention to detail and disciplined follow‑up.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Experience using spreadsheets for data tracking.
• Comfort with digital tools such as calendars, email and other administrative platforms.
