English Teacher

About the role

Fun Languages is looking for a passionate English Teacher to join its Guimarães centre. You will create an inspiring learning environment, adapt lessons to a wide range of ages and proficiency levels, and help students achieve their language objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic, interactive English lessons tailored to children, teens, and adults.
• Design and prepare engaging lesson plans that align with Fun Languages’ educational standards.
• Monitor student progress, assess performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Adapt teaching methodologies and materials to meet diverse learner needs.
• Maintain a positive, motivating classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Proven experience in teaching English with effective pedagogical techniques.
• Strong curriculum and lesson‑planning skills.
• Outstanding communication abilities and a talent for fostering engagement.
• A university degree in Languages, Education, or a related field (preferred).
• TEFL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification (strong asset).
