Engineering Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our global product development team in Porto. You will combine deep technical expertise with a clear vision to guide the team as we build AI‑powered contact‑center solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize new features together with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Direct the team in technical and architectural decisions for real‑time, highly scalable systems.
• Balance technical work and product priorities to accelerate business outcomes.
• Help triage bugs, production incidents, and on‑call escalations.
• Actively manage performance, providing feedback, coaching, and career development.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and grow high‑performing engineering teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience handling multiple initiatives in parallel.
• Strong hiring instincts to attract and retain top engineering talent.

Required skills

• Web development experience and familiarity with modern software development best practices.
• Expertise with at least one programming language and comfort with several others.
