About the role

HARVION Systems is looking for a Software Engineer with strong back‑end development expertise to help build the platforms that power autonomous aerial, ground, and maritime vehicle systems. The role focuses on creating robust, scalable, real‑time data solutions that integrate tightly with embedded and desktop components.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend services and APIs supporting autonomous vehicle operations.
• Process and manage real‑time telemetry data streams.
• Design and implement distributed systems and micro‑service architectures.
• Integrate embedded systems, desktop applications, and cloud platforms.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of critical software components.
• Collaborate closely with robotics, control, and software engineering teams.

Required profile

• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python programming.
• Experience with real‑time data processing on Linux systems.
• Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ or MQTT.
• Background in embedded systems, IoT devices, and scalable backend design.
• Knowledge of ARM architecture and serial communication protocols (UART, CAN, I2C).
• Experience with STM32 family, sensor‑fusion, and autonomous or robotics projects is a plus.
