Embedded Software Engineer Internship – eBike

About the role

Join Bosch’s Ovar site as an Embedded Software Engineer intern working on eBike solutions. You will support early‑stage prototyping, R&D and product certification by developing and maintaining software tools and automation scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software tools for prototyping, embedded testing and product certification.
• Support and optimise the embedded software toolchain to improve development efficiency.
• Create and enhance automation solutions, including scripts, build processes and CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with international, cross‑functional teams to build GUI and CLI applications for embedded systems.
• Apply version control, documentation and artifact management to ensure software quality and traceability.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Active involvement in academic projects, personal coding projects or hardware hobbies.
• Good knowledge of embedded C development.
• Familiarity with Python scripting.
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and low‑level hardware concepts.
