Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Electrician

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electro‑Mechanical Maintenance Electrician to join the HOA Department at Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club, a luxury residential community in Melides, Portugal. The role involves ensuring the reliability of all electrical infrastructure, from generators to lighting systems, while delivering high‑quality service to members and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service generators, lighting, and all electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults, repair or replace defective components, and communicate impact on operations.
• Estimate downtime for any required shutdowns and coordinate with management.
• Conduct periodic inspections of new 220 V and three‑phase services, including wiring, pumps, conduit, panels, breakers, relays, timers and controls.
• Perform routine electrical maintenance, install or replace fixtures, switches, receptacles and wiring.
• Operate standard power tools, equipment and trenchers for installations and repairs.
• Execute additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 9th year of schooling.
• At least 5 years of proven electrical experience.
• Valid electrician qualification certificate.
• Experience as a Maintenance Electrician in industrial settings.
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities.
