Electrician (Hotel Maintenance)

About the role

The Electrician will join the hotel’s facilities team to carry out preventive maintenance and ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently. This full‑time position involves installing, maintaining and repairing wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with applicable codes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on complex electrical equipment.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, fixtures and related hardware.
• Diagnose faults and execute corrective repairs promptly.
• Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff to support hotel operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or college coursework in a related field is a plus.
• Minimum three years of progressive experience in hotel or similar environment.
• Current certifications and active membership in the Colegio de Peritos Electricistas de Puerto Rico (CPEPR).
• Ability to work flexible and long hours, including heavy physical effort.
