Electrical Engineering Coordinator – French Speaker

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Coordinator who is fluent in French to lead the technical development and delivery of renewable energy projects, including solar PV, energy storage, and hybrid systems. The role blends engineering leadership, project coordination, and technical oversight to ensure high‑quality, optimized solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project engineers, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
• Develop optimized engineering solutions considering technical requirements, costs, and timelines.
• Support project development, tenders, procurement, and construction through technical analysis and cost‑benefit evaluation.
• Assess project feasibility, conduct site capacity studies, and perform technical due diligence.
• Coordinate and review designs of power plants, energy storage, and hybrid systems with civil and CAD teams.
• Oversee energy yield assessments, electrical designs, single‑line diagrams, BoQs, specifications, calculations and documentation.
• Manage external engineering consultants and service providers.
• Provide technical support during site surveys, construction, commissioning, warranty periods and As‑Built documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to evaluate technical solutions and drive project optimisation.

Required profile

• Master’s or degree in Electrical/Electrotechnical Engineering, preferably with an Energy Systems specialization.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical projects; at least 2 years in coordination roles.
• Experience in electrical installation, construction inspection, and preferably solar, energy storage or hybrid systems.
• Fluency in English and French; additional Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
