Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

CTS Group is expanding its data‑center engineering team in Portugal and is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on large‑scale projects in Lisbon or Porto. You will join a multidisciplinary group, receive mentorship from senior engineers and progressively take ownership of electrical design tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and specification of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting and control.
• Develop electrical calculations, schematics and detailed drawings.
• Produce and maintain documentation using AutoCAD, Revit and other design tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical solutions with other disciplines.
• Apply IEC, NFPA and other relevant standards throughout the design process.
• Assist senior engineers in solving technical challenges and ensuring design quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience ranging from junior (1‑3 years) to senior (8+ years) in electrical design or related engineering functions.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and willingness to learn.
