Electrical Construction Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre (Portugal)

About the role

Join a leading Tier 1 contractor as Electrical Construction Manager for a flagship hyperscale data centre project in Portugal. You will provide senior site‑level leadership, overseeing the delivery of complex electrical building services and critical power packages while working closely with project directors, MEP managers, BIM teams and specialist subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the on‑site technical and operational execution of all electrical engineering and construction works.
• Ensure delivery is safe, on schedule, within budget and complies with client specifications and data‑centre operational standards.
• Coordinate with Electrical Project Managers, MEP Managers, Design Managers, QA/QC, EHS, commissioning teams and client representatives.
• Manage subcontractors, equipment vendors and specialist trades to achieve project milestones.
• Support construction and commissioning phases of the hyperscale data centre and related mission‑critical facilities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer in data‑centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or semiconductor environments.
• Strong track record delivering electrical building services and critical power systems on large‑scale, mission‑critical projects.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets, schedules and quality standards.
