EAP Coordinator – Employee Assistance Program Specialist

About the role

The EAP Coordinator supports client companies in implementing and managing an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that promotes workplace wellbeing and productivity. The role combines client orientation, service sales, crisis response, and program administration.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell EAP services to prospective client companies.
• Provide orientation and ongoing support to client employees navigating personal or work‑related issues.
• Hire, train, and supervise department staff to ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Develop new contracts and maintain existing client relationships.
• Prepare utilization reports, case summaries, and management presentations.
• Conduct educational seminars for employees and client organizations.
• Act as liaison between management, labor‑relations professionals, and external partners.
• Respond to crisis situations and participate in planning committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience in health‑care business development or marketing with demonstrable results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
• Experience using Windows operating systems and standard office equipment (scanner, copier, fax).
