About the role

The school is seeking a passionate Music Teacher to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate music education to elementary students. You will create an inclusive, safe learning environment and collaborate with staff to support each child’s musical development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that align with the school curriculum.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom that meets diverse learning needs.
• Use varied teaching methods and resources to address different learning styles.
• Assess, record and report student progress regularly.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and their parents or guardians.
• Maintain classroom routines that promote respect and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and school leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers.
• Uphold school policies and maintain high professional standards.
• Identify and support students with special educational needs.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification or licensure for the relevant region.
• Additional training in special education, literacy or curriculum development (desirable).
• 1–3 years (or more) of experience teaching elementary‑aged children.
• Experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant curriculum and educational standards.
• Proven skills in lesson planning, assessment and classroom management.
• Active participation in professional development and ongoing teacher training.
