Director of Pricing Intelligence (Europe)

About the role

We are looking for a Global Pricing Director to shape and execute the pricing strategy for a key international business unit within a leading packaging and specialty film company. This senior leadership position drives profitable growth, commercial performance, and market competitiveness across regions, customer segments, and product portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the global pricing strategy to maximise profitability and revenue growth.
• Drive the transition to value‑based pricing, focusing on customer value and total cost of ownership.
• Partner with Sales Leadership and Account Managers to support key deals, negotiations and commercial decisions.
• Enable fast, agile pricing decisions in a dynamic market environment.
• Leverage market intelligence, analytics and customer insights to inform pricing execution.
• Own global pricing governance, frameworks and processes, balancing control with speed.
• Lead the development of pricing systems, digital tools and automation such as PriceFX.
• Build, lead and develop a global pricing team and influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Operations and Marketing.

Required profile

• Strong experience in pricing, commercial strategy or commercial leadership within a B2B environment.
• Proven track record of leading pricing strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with sales organisations and support commercial decision‑making.
• Commercial mindset with a history of driving profitability and growth.
• Experience operating in complex, international environments.
• Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across functions.
