Dialysis Nurse – Full‑time – Sintra, Portugal

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Dialysis Nurse to join our renal care team in Sintra. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across all clinical settings of the dialysis clinic.
• Apply evidence‑based practices and uphold quality standards.
• Document all nursing interventions promptly and accurately.
• Promote patient autonomy, empower families, and ensure treatment adherence.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support coordination initiatives across different levels of healthcare.
• Participate in continuous improvement and incident reporting.
• Engage in national and international research projects.
• Assist in training and developing fellow professionals.
• Contribute to the management and organization of the nursing team and resolve clinical or organisational issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing with a valid professional licence.
• Open to candidates with or without prior dialysis experience.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.
• Strong initiative, critical thinking, decision‑making, communication, conflict management and teamwork abilities.
