DevOps Engineer – Mid Level (3‑6 yrs) – Lisbon/Porto

About the role

We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our IT team in Portugal. The role supports business applications, ensures smooth production workflows and contributes to continuous improvement of our infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support business units with their IT needs and understand production scenarios.
• Manage incidents, service requests and change requests following ITIL‑based processes.
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders and partner teams.
• Diagnose root causes, apply patches or releases and help prevent recurring issues.
• Automate routine, procedure‑oriented tasks by writing and maintaining scripts.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in a DevOps or systems‑administration role.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex environments.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Linux, especially RedHat distributions.
• Knowledge of Windows server environments.
• Proficiency in shell scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with RPA tools and application performance monitoring (Dynatrace).
• General understanding of IT infrastructure and DevOps practices.
