DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (Braga, Portugal)

About the role

CodSec is looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure that supports its SecOps, AppSec, and AI‑driven solutions. This full‑time, hybrid role based in Braga combines on‑site collaboration with flexible remote days.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Develop, manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Deploy, monitor and tune Linux‑based systems in production environments.
• Collaborate with security, engineering and data teams to automate workflows and improve observability.
• Enhance resilience and performance of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Troubleshoot production incidents and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Continuously refine operational practices, tooling and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong IaC experience with Terraform, Ansible or similar tools.
• Software development skills in Python, Go or Bash scripting.
• Hands‑on experience designing CI/CD pipelines and integrating with version control systems.
• Solid Linux system‑administration background, including performance tuning and monitoring.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure hardening and secure software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively in hybrid teams and document infrastructure clearly.
