DevOps Engineer – Cloud (AWS/Azure) – Mid/Senior – Lisbon/Porto – Hybrid

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud or DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team in Portugal. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining cloud solutions on AWS and/or Azure while supporting migration and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud architectures on AWS and/or Azure.
• Lead cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, ARM or Bicep.
• Implement security controls, identity management, encryption and compliance measures.
• Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity and reliability practices.
• Monitor performance, availability and cost, and drive optimization.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud issues to maintain stable delivery.
• Develop automation scripts and support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Create technical documentation and knowledge‑sharing materials.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and security teams.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS or Azure services.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security architecture and compliance.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required skills

• AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53)
• Azure (Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Entra ID/Azure AD, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Functions, Monitor, DNS, Key Vault)
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, ARM templates, Bicep
• Automation & scripting (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash)
• Containers and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
