DevOps Engineer – Cloud (AWS/Azure) – Mid/Senior – Lisbon/Porto – Hybrid

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud or DevOps Engineer with 3+ years of experience to design, build and maintain solutions on AWS and/or Azure. The role is based in Lisbon or Porto and follows a hybrid model with two days per week on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain cloud architectures on AWS and/or Azure.
• Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, ARM or Bicep.
• Implement security controls, identity management, encryption and compliance measures.
• Ensure disaster recovery, business continuity and reliability practices.
• Monitor performance, availability and cost, and drive optimisation.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud‑related incidents.
• Develop automation scripts and support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Create technical documentation and share knowledge with development, infrastructure and security teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering or related roles.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Route 53) or Azure services (VMs, Virtual Networks, Entra ID/Azure AD, Storage, Azure SQL, Functions, Monitor, DNS, Key Vault).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security architecture, identity & access management and compliance.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, ARM templates or Bicep.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS).
