DevOps Engineer & Azure Cloud Specialist

About the role

Automaise is a fast‑growing AI automation company building its platform on Microsoft Azure. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer & Azure Cloud Specialist to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and automation processes, ensuring reliable, secure and high‑performance services for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision and manage Azure resources such as VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions and virtual networks (VNet, NSG, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Load Balancer).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes (AKS).
• Automate operational tasks with PowerShell, Bash and Python scripts.
• Monitor infrastructure via Azure Monitor, Log Analytics and Application Insights, and respond to incidents within SLA.
• Manage cloud databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Azure Cache for Redis) and security controls (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud).
• Create technical documentation, runbooks and architecture diagrams.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimise performance and control cloud costs.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, networking and security.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and using IaC tools.
• Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with Python.
• Experience with container technologies and Kubernetes (AKS) preferred.
