Data Scientist – Finance Transformation

About the role

Airbus Global Business Services is looking for a Data Scientist to join its Finance community and drive digital transformation. You will work with finance professionals to turn data into predictive insights that support strategic decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Explore and structure data from Airbus data lakes and databases to create finance‑focused use cases.
• Develop predictive, simulation, correlation and classification models that address key finance projects.
• Collaborate with multi‑functional teams, including Finance business units, IT, and the broader data‑science community.
• Promote data‑science awareness and best practices within the Finance organisation.
• Deliver project‑based solutions from concept through implementation.

Required profile

• Strong background in applied statistics and data analysis.
• Experience building predictive scenarios for business projects.
• Ability to work with stakeholders from finance and IT to define and deliver data‑driven solutions.
• Proactive attitude, problem‑solving mindset and alignment with Airbus values.
