Data & Analytics Analyst

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking a Data & Analytics Analyst to design, develop, and maintain reporting solutions that support the firm’s operational and strategic decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a passion for uncovering insights that answer the "why" behind business trends.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting and analytics needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop new data sets, metrics, and analytics content to inform strategic decisions.
• Identify and implement efficiencies and enhancements in reporting processes.
• Support and train the analytics community on tools, data models, and best practices.
• Provide data sourcing, preparation, and visualization expertise to analytics teams.
• Collaborate with data architects to define requirements for BI visualizations.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of business intelligence and data warehousing functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, econometrics).
• 3+ years of experience in business analytics and support functions.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Tableau (Desktop, Server, Data Prep).
• 3+ years of SQL/PLSQL development experience.
• Experience managing Tableau sites and projects with consistent deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodology in data and analytics contexts.
