Data Analyst – Treasury (Lisbon)

About the role

Banco Finantia is seeking a Data Analyst to strengthen its Treasury Department in Lisbon. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand existing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver automated solutions that enhance data reliability and reporting efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and understand current treasury processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to pinpoint needs and improvement opportunities.
• Design, develop, and implement process automation solutions.
• Define and execute controls and testing procedures to ensure data consistency and reliability.
• Prepare, update, and maintain comprehensive process documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Mathematics or related field, plus a Master’s in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science or Information Systems.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in data analysis, financial reporting or treasury support.
• Experience handling and interpreting financial data (preferred).
• Fluency in English; good command of Spanish is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, client‑oriented mindset and high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel, including VBA development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with Business Objects.
• Understanding of Bloomberg terminal (preferred).
