Data Analyst Trainee – Real Assets

About the role

The Data Analyst Trainee will join BNP Paribas' Real Assets team in Lisbon. Working closely with the Credit Portfolio Management and Credit Analyst teams, you will support the collection, validation and reporting of credit data that underpins the bank's risk and investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Input missing data on credit files for presentation to the Credit Committee.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of credit data across multiple files.
• Communicate with CPM Credit Analyst teams to obtain updates on credit file progress.
• Identify structured data within credit files and create standard input procedures.
• Collaborate with golden‑source system owners to maintain correct source data.
• Produce periodic reports, providing clear analysis and interpretation of collected data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting or Management.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong interest in data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Self‑starter with initiative and flexibility.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
