Cybersecurity Expert – Governance, Risk & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to strengthen our security posture in Porto. You will work on governance, risk, compliance and data loss prevention initiatives, ensuring that our systems and processes meet the highest security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor cybersecurity policies across the organization.
• Track vulnerabilities, data breaches and suspicious activities on endpoints, email, and access controls.
• Lead incident response and conduct thorough investigations.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery, remediation and business continuity plans.
• Promote security best practices within project teams.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in cybersecurity governance, compliance, risk management or DLP projects.
• Hands‑on experience with vulnerability monitoring and incident response.
• Familiarity with ISO 27000, ISO 31000 and ISO 22000 standards.
• Knowledge of NIST, COBIT, NIS2 or similar frameworks.
• Fluent English (required).
