Cybersecurity Analyst L2 – Blue Team

About the role

Inetum is seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst L2 to strengthen its Blue Team. The role focuses on security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response within a remote‑or‑hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor compliance with cybersecurity SLAs.
• Create, develop, and optimise detection use cases in SIEM platforms.
• Govern the full lifecycle of use cases, from requirements gathering to continuous improvement.
• Analyse security events and alerts to identify potential threats.
• Participate in threat‑hunting activities to uncover emerging risks.
• Support vulnerability analysis and tracking for risk mitigation.
• Investigate security incidents and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Produce technical documentation and activity reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective security processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations or SOC Level 2 within a Blue Team environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• High autonomy, decision‑making capability, and proactive ownership.
• Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic setting.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel) – rule creation, event correlation, use‑case development.
• Log analysis and incident investigation.
• Threat hunting and threat analysis.
• Vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
