Cyber Security Engineer – Banking Sector

About the role

Lead and deliver a broad range of cybersecurity projects for banking clients, conducting audits, vulnerability assessments and ensuring security practices align with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver cybersecurity projects for clients across multiple sectors.
• Conduct thorough audits, vulnerability assessments and technical evaluations.
• Ensure client security practices align with relevant industry standards, regulations and frameworks.
• Design, implement and optimise security controls and solutions.
• Contribute to risk management processes, identifying and mitigating potential threats.
• Develop, test and refine incident response plans, providing support during incidents.
• Deploy, configure and fine‑tune monitoring solutions and analyse alerts and events.
• Produce clear, actionable reports summarising findings and recommendations.
• Develop and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness programmes to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar security‑focused role.
• Fluency in Portuguese and strong command of English.
