Cyber Operations Specialist

About the role

Elevus is seeking a Cyber Operations Specialist to join its security services team. The professional will support clients by managing and responding to security events, ensuring a robust protection posture across diverse environments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor security platforms including SIEM, SOAR and EDR solutions.
• Analyse alerts, investigate incidents and coordinate incident response actions.
• Perform proactive threat‑hunting to uncover hidden risks.
• Develop detection rules, use‑cases and automated response playbooks.
• Conduct regular security assessments, risk analyses and vulnerability management.
• Provide expert advice on security best practices and risk mitigation to clients.
• Assist in creating and maintaining security policies, standards and procedures.
• Deliver security awareness training and workshops for client staff.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in cybersecurity consultancy, preferably in managed security services.
• Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH or GIAC (highly valued).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a fast‑paced team.
